Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The daughter of a family of artists in New York she wished to work in the field of art. After working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's film Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
