Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American book author, who has received Emmy Awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. It will air for another 27 years. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. She then bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she decided to let it go. Then she began writing her first cookbook. The cookbooks were followed by many more as well as magazine columns which were added. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut with great hit. The range of products includes appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of making food and hosting.
