Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She studied at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A marks in her A-Levels. When Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale character she stated she regretted having not had the typical university experience. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while in school. She performed with them in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The show also received favorable reviews. Coleman was awarded the award with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman won the Emmerdale role Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with the drama school. In 2007 Coleman was awarded two awards. Coleman won two nominations in 2007 for Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was awarded for the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman got her TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman will be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her because of how well she could work with Smith, and that she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the world of entertainment since 1987. Eva has been prominent on TV than in films. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva isn't just acting, but she's an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.
